The 1999 British Columbia Provincial DrugFree Powerlifting Association meet was held on Sunday, January 31st at the Cheam Centre in Sardis B.C. This was the first time in a couple of years that the B.C.s had been put on and despite some previous injuries to a number of the participant the lifting was good and everyone had a great time. These provincials saw four new people joining the CDFPA along with a returning member who hadnt lifted with us for over five years. The BCDFPA is confident that with the new direction of the WDFPF and interest in drugfree power lifting, our numbers will increase.
